We have camped here at Tremorvu several times – with friends and family too – and consider this to be a wonderful find. What keeps us coming back is that it is a friendly, peaceful, family run site at great value. There is always a lovely welcome on our arrival and the camping ground is well kept. The new shower block being built will be ready in a few weeks, in time for our summer holiday in July, and will make a huge difference ☺
Our children who are 7 and 5 love camping here – it is a safe enclosed (gated) field so they can explore safely and we can relax too.
The owners, Terry and Tony, are always willing to help if they can with any type of request – a windbreak to borrow, pub to recommend, good local eateries, books to borrow... they are always happy to oblige.
The campsite is in a great location, between Helston and Penzance, so there's all the beaches between Lands End and The Lizard within easy reach, plus the many local attractions – we like Pendennis Castle at Falmouth, which takes about 40 minutes.
Facilities on site include a fridge, hot showers, wash basins and toilets, plus all the extra TLC above. Nearby there is a local post office & shops (1 mile), a garage, fish & chips and RJ Supplies at Praa Sands, which is good for all beachy things (at reasonable prices). There are great walks on the doorstep and good views too!
All in all, a lovely family site and one I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful camping trip (except I want to keep it a secret !).

Jasmin thinks the walls of the site (Cornish hedges) are pretty with all the wild flowers and likes being able to camp in the same place each time. It is quiet at bedtime and you can hear lots of birds. No campsite can be as good as this one.
